Senior Maintenance Planner
Role Overview:
About the role
Senior Maintenance Planner reports to the Maintenance Superintendent and is responsible for overseeing, developing, implementing and maintaining maintenance strategies in Pronto for Maintenance teams. The role ensures all work practices and procedures meet statutory, company OHS&E and operational standards within the Maintenance Department.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, update and execute shutdown planning (forecast and planning of maintenance work orders using Pronto XI).
- Monitor and execute set shutdown weekly cadence objectives efficiently.
- Oversee, organise, review and raise vendor purchase orders for labour and material requirements.
- Ensure compliance to cost management and budget requirements while planning shutdown work orders.
- Use the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Project) to track and complete the above tasks.
- Contribute to the planning process that enables production and processing optimisation and support management.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in a similar role; previous use of Pronto or similar CMMS.
- Knowledge of fixed plant equipment and maintenance principles.
- Electrical/Mechanical Trade Qualification (desirable).
- Frontline management or equivalent experience (desirable).
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
- Strong desire and motivation to be part of a successful planning team.
