Job Title: Tyre Equipment Specialist
Job Description:
* As a tyre equipment specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of rubber tyre equipment.
* You will be responsible for maintaining fleet tyre assets, meeting site maintenance schedules and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Remove and fit rims and wheel assemblies on heavy earthmoving mining equipment to ensure optimal performance.
2. Perform regular tyre inflation pressure checks, adjust as necessary, and report to supervisor.
3. Carry out regular haul road inspections to identify potential hazards and initiate corrective actions.
4. Source technical information from available reference manuals, technical bulletins, and computer-based systems to address equipment-related issues.
5. Initiate proactive measures to prevent equipment non-conformance, document any quality problems, and provide solutions through established channels.
