Position Overview:
As a licensed A-Grade Electrician at ESI Solutions, you'll take the lead on a wide range of electrical projects, with a strong focus on solar PV installations. You'll ensure safety and quality standards, troubleshoot complex issues, mentor up and coming apprentices, and deliver exceptional customer service that sets us apart.
Key Responsibilities:
· Electrical Installation: Carry out a wide range of electrical installations including switchboards, lighting, power outlets, fault finding, upgrades, and general wiring.
· Solar Work: Lead and conduct installation, maintenance, and repair of solar PV systems to ensure optimal performance.
· Quality Control: Carry out quality checks to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
· Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues effectively.
· Safety Commitment: Adhere to workplace health and safety policies and promptly report any hazards.
· Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work, including diagrams, technical data, photos, and compliance documentation.
· Mentorship: Guide and support apprentices, helping them develop their skills.
· Customer Interaction: Build lasting relationships with clients through clear, honest communication, ensuring their satisfaction and confidence in our work.
What We're Looking For:
* A-Grade Electrical Licence: Must hold a Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence.
* Solar Accreditation: Highly regarded (but not a deal-breaker).
* Split System Expertise: Also highly regarded but not a deal-breaker.
* Working at Heights: Highly regarded as most of our work will have you on the roof.
* Technical Wizardry: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and the ability to read schematics like a pro.
* Safety-First Mindset: You know the rules and follow them, keeping yourself and others out of harm's way.
