Reporting to the General Manager IT, the Operations Manager role leads the areas of Network & Communications, Infrastructure, Workplace Technology (EUC) and Cyber Security. In leading these technical disciplines, it is critical to protect Amart's digital and physical IT assets and ensure compliance and resilience of all our technology. The role plans and delivers the technical changes required to ensure out IT assets are protected, secure, resilient and maintained in life.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Direct report into GM IT
- Provide technical leadership across the technical domains of Network & Communications, Infrastructure, Workplace Technology and Cyber Security
- Meeting with and building strong relationships with industry leaders and suppliers
- Drive SLA and performance outcomes with all suppliers
- Technical leader within the IT team and for the Infrastructure and Help Desk teams
- Financial management for all IT costs
- Develop and maintain documentation, policies, standards and processes
- Deliver innovation and technology leadership for technologies
- Introduction of new technologies such as Windows Hello, Windows ATP, Rapid 7 and Splunk
- Ensure resilience, compliance and security across Amart's technology
**About you**:
- Strong leadership skills with proven experience managing a technical solutions team
- Proven experience building fit for purpose technical solutions
- Excellent engagement, listening and communication skills
- Ability to work with non-technical business stakeholders of all levels
- A broad range of contemporary IT infrastructure systems including servers, networks, storage, firewalls, business continuity and disaster recover
- Have significant infrastructure experience in a variety of complex environments
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to present complex technical issues so they can be easily understood by diverse audiences
- Up to date skills and knowledge of the latest Microsoft technologies
