Account Manager
* Fixed Term Full-Time role | 24 months
* Based at any of our Coal Services locations in Sydney, Woonona, Speers Point, or Singleton | Hybrid working arrangement

Reporting to the Head of Policy and Account Management, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with employer accounts. Your focus will be on driving injury prevention outcomes, improving claims performance, and supporting premium stability through collaborative partnership.
You will work closely with Coal Mines Insurance Operations, and other Coal Services Business Units to deliver customer-focused outcomes aligned with our purpose: To Protect.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strategic account plans and regular engagement planners with employer customers to ensure consistent service delivery
* Analyse performance trends and identify risk, loss patterns and improvement opportunities
* Provide guidance on workers compensation performance and prevention strategies
* Deliver education sessions and industry engagement initiatives
* Solution-focused escalation and issue resolution for employer customers in line with the Account Management Framework
* Support employer customers in understanding key drivers of premium movements.
* Collaborate across business units to ensure a connected, consistent service model
About You:
* Minimum 3 years' experience within an insurance environment
* Tertiary qualification in an appropriate discipline and / or demonstrated experience in a similar role.
* Strong stakeholder and relationship management capability
* Demonstrated commercial acumen and development of key performance indicators.
* Knowledge of workers compensation, claims management or risk management (highly regarded)
* Knowledge of the coal mining industry(highly regarded)
* Excellent influencing, negotiation and communication skills
* Ability to analyse and present data in a clear and meaningful way
