About the Role
As a key member of our central Health, Safety & Wellness team, this role is crucial in fostering a safe, healthy, and supportive workplace environment.
The successful candidate will provide professional, timely advice and support to ensure continuous improvement in Health, Safety & Wellness systems, programs, and performance, protecting our employees, products, and environment.
This position acts as a trusted advisor to leaders and team members on HSW matters, guiding the implementation of our HSW and cultural systems and programs.
* Demonstrate leadership with site management teams and stakeholders to develop systems, site improvements, and plans.
* Collaborate with site managers to facilitate core processes such as Hazard Management, Incident Investigation, Injury Management, and Contractor Management.
* Manage the service delivery of Site Hazard Improvement Plans, quarterly reporting, site inspections, and training.
* Proactively review safety trends and develop action plans to mitigate risks.
* Manage investigations of critical WHS events/incidents and prepare relevant reports.
About You
We are seeking an experienced professional with demonstrated knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, AS4024, and effective communication skills to engage stakeholders.
* Effective planning and management of multiple tasks and deadlines from various stakeholders.
* Experience delivering HSW programs and initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
* Understanding of WHS and risk management principles.
* Diploma in WHE/OH&S or equivalent experience.
* OFA and RTW training.
* HSR training.
