Senior Account Executive for the Federal Government

Responsibilities
We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to focus on a select number of Key and Strategic Accounts within the Federal Government. You will represent OpenText at the highest levels, working with government customers as they move to the cloud. You will manage large, complex deals and orchestrate outcomes with customers, partners, and internal teams across Solution Consulting, Professional Services, Partner Managers, Customer Renewals, Maintenance, HR, Finance, and Revenue Recognition.

As Senior Account Executive you will lead the Federal Government operation for OpenText's content services, inspiring and coaching your team to deliver outstanding customer outcomes. Your role goes beyond selling; you will effectively lead the OpenText content services operation in the ACT and manage the operation's success.
What It Takes
* Track record of at least 5+ years selling Software Solutions in government or significant experience consulting in government.
* Experience with cloud‐based, on‐premises, or hybrid solutions.
* Ability to identify, develop, and navigate large government businesses.
* Strong knowledge of the customer buying process.
* Demonstrated strong sales methodologies and tool usage to achieve and exceed targets.
* Intellectual curiosity, quick learning of new products, and spirit of innovation.
* Completed post‐secondary education and passion for continuous learning.
