About the Role 
Our client is seeking a driven Engineer to support the delivery of construction projects. This role is ideal for someone with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in project engineering who is looking to step up into project management. 
Our client is a multi-disciplined company providing a range of end-to-end engineering solutions across numerous industries including mining and resources, power, rail, defence, and water sectors. You will work closely with the Senior Project Engineer and engineering teams to ensure key project deliverables are met across quality, time, and client satisfaction. 
Key Responsibilities 
Report to the Project Manager on daily site progress 
Creating detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications using CAD (Autodesk Inventor) software 
Document design assumptions, calculations, decisions, and test results for quality compliance purpose and future reference 
Preparing technical reports and presentations 
Identify and resolve technical issues or challenges during product development, testing, or production 
Analyse root causes of project failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence 
Provide technical support to customers, sales teams, or service technicians 
Prepare and manage site diaries and records 
Collaborate proactively with estimators to ensure design robustness and product efficiency 
Support project schedule updates and tracking 
Assist with procurement and resource coordination 
Manage project materials and subcontractors 
Maintain qualified client relationships and reports 
Skills & Experience 
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar engineering role 
Degree in Civil, Mechanical or an related Engineering or equivalent 
Excellent communication and organisational skills 
Strong understanding of construction processes and safety requirements 
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools 
Team-focused with a growth mindset 
Salary 
Salary Range $76,000-$80,000 per annum + superannuation.
