Genus has been engaged to deliver electrical, and infrastructure works for an FMG project at Anderson Point. This involves brownfields electrical upgrades within an operational iron ore facility.
The Scope Includes
* Relocation of existing above ground and underground services to enable construction of a new surge building
* Installation of new cable ladder infrastructure along existing conveyors
* Installation of a new site-wide power feed to support upgraded substations
* Shutdown activities requiring additional personnel while working in a live plant environment
Electrical Supervisor
will be responsible for leading on-site electrical teams to safely and efficiently deliver the project. This includes managing trades and contractors, coordinating project activities, and ensuring work is completed to schedule, budget, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate electrical trades and contractors on site
* Supervise brownfields electrical works within a live operating facility
* Coordinate schedules with engineering, procurement, and site teams
* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards
* Monitor project progress, respond to delays, and manage electrical construction risks
* Support planning and execution of shutdown scopes associated with the project
* Ensure compliance with all electrical and safety standards, legislation, and contractual requirements
Essential Skills / Qualifications / Experience
* Trade qualification & WA Electrical Licence
* Section 26 (S26) qualification
* Experience supervising electrical works in mining, industrial, or heavy infrastructure projects
* Experience managing brownfields or live plant electrical scopes
* Minimum 5+ years' experience in a supervisory or senior electrical role
* Strong leadership and team management skills in remote or operational environments
* Commitment to safety and thorough understanding of workplace health & safety legislation
* Valid Driver's Licence
* Construction Induction (White Card)
Desirable
* FMG site experience or inductions
* Experience delivering electrical infrastructure or plant upgrade projects
