About the role:

Our Burwood East Home Care supports aging clients to live safely and independently at home. We offer Part-Time roles, with hours during weekdays, supporting clients in Kilsyth, Tecoma, The Patch, Upwey, Lilydale, Belgrave, and surrounding areas.
We are looking for passionate and caring individuals for the position of:
* Home Care Worker (relevant qualifications required)
If you're committed to making a genuine impact and helping clients maintain independence, this role could be ideal for you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Travel between clients’ homes
* Support with domestic tasks (meal prep, chores)
* Provide social support and transportation as needed
* Assist with personal care (showering, grooming, mobility)
* Respect clients’ rights, cultural, spiritual, and individual needs
* Work within a multidisciplinary team, recognize changes in client conditions, escalate concerns
* Participate in quality activities and deliver excellent customer service
* Support colleagues by sharing knowledge
* Must : Own a registered vehicle, valid insurance, and Victorian driver’s license
About you:
You're passionate about making a difference and enhancing clients’ quality of life. You possess:
* Qualifications: Certificate III/IV in Individual Support or currently studying Nursing
* First Aid & CPR: Current or willingness to obtain
* Driver’s License: Valid Victorian license and comprehensive insurance
* Commitment to Person-Centred Care
* Team Player : Collaborative attitude and ability to connect individually with clients
* Experience in home care or domestic support (desirable)
* Understanding of client-directed care
* Alignment with the BEST values
Essentials for working in aged care:
* Current Working With Children Check ( Employee )
* Up-to-date flu vaccinations
* Australian working rights
* Ability to pass police and NDIS clearances
