About the WA Recovery College Alliance (WARCA) 
The WA Recovery College Alliance (WARCA) aims to create positive change and hope by bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds and communities in a safe, welcoming and flexible learning environment which enables the sharing of lived expertise and professional knowledge. The College promotes mental health and wellbeing (recovery) for all throughout the community, through providing a range of courses which offer knowledge, skills, and tools that support people to find greater meaning, confidence, and enjoyment in everyday life.
WARCA courses and workshops are underpinned by co-design and co-production values and principles and operates according to the
WARCA Integrity Framework. The courses create spaces for connection, shared learning and new possibilities.

The Position
This role will be responsible for oversight of the effective running of the College, including team cohesion and accountability, consolidation of college processes and procedures and executing contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities (not limited to): 
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the college, providing leadership to team members
- Developing and maintaining the College prospectus to provide quality recovery focused courses meeting the needs of people from diverse cultures, backgrounds and experiences.
- Building and maintaining collaborative links and partnerships across the Recovery College, community and other government and non-government agencies
- Provide project management oversight of budgeting, reporting, planning, evaluation and auditing requirements

About You 
Experience, Skills and Knowledge: 
- Skills and knowledge in operations and project management, including planning, evaluation, quality improvement, budgeting, relationship management, marketing and IT processes
- Experience working within the mental health sector
- Experience in leading, managing and supporting a team to achieve and deliver outcomes and a positive team culture
Minimum qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in relevant field (e.g. mental health, education/training, social work or related), with demonstrated professional experience
- Australian Working Rights
- Current driver's license
- National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
