We are hiring:
• Pick Packing Position • Full-time 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday) 7:30am–3:30pm.
Approx 40% of these hours will be spent in food production as a Packing Assistant.
Position Overview
Working in a small and supportive team, the Pick Packing Position is responsible for accurately and efficiently packing orders, assisting with production requirements, and ensuring that all products leave our facility in excellent condition. This role plays a key part in maintaining our high standards of quality and presentation that reflect the Adelia Fine Foods brand values.
Key Responsibilities
Packing & Order Fulfilment
* Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to order sheets.
* Check product quality, labelling, and presentation prior to dispatch.
* Ensure correct quantities, product codes, and packaging are used.
Production Support
* Support the production team by preparing ingredients, packaging, and materials.
* Refill stock and maintain organisation of production and packing areas.
* Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Stock & Dispatch
* Assist with stock rotation (FIFO) and inventory checks.
* Work with the dispatch team to ensure orders are labelled and ready on time.
* Communicate any product shortages, errors, or quality issues promptly.
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous experience in pick packing, warehousing, or food production (preferred but not essential).
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Physically fit and capable of lifting boxes up to 15kg safely.
* Basic computer skills for order and inventory systems (training provided).
