The DACS team is enthusiastic about welcoming a new colleague and fostering your success. This is a fixed-term opportunity with the potential for extension.About The RoleYou’ll be actively involved in research-related activities, engaging with clients to support screening and study participation. Your week will involve:Following research protocols and ethical guidelinesConducting respectful client screenings and interviewsAccurately collecting and documenting data for researchAnalysing findings and contributing to care planning, where appropriateEnsuring client safety and wellbeing remains a top priorityThere is the potential for travel, so a current driver’s licence is required.About YouWe are looking for someone who is:Empathetic and non-judgemental in their approachComfortable working with vulnerable populations in a research or clinical settingSkilled at setting and maintaining professional and ethical boundariesHighly organised with strong documentation skillsCommitted to confidentiality, safety, and evidence-informed practiceRequirementsCurrent NSW Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel for work purposesCurrent registration as a Registered Nurse with Authority to Practice with AHPRA.Experience or interest in drug and alcohol, mental health, or community health settingsWhat We Can Offer YouAt Hunter New England Health, enjoy a career where you're challenged by interesting work and surrounded by spectacular locations.
