Overview
Liverpool City Council is seeking passionate and dedicated Diploma Trained Early Childhood Educators to join our team, supporting the Early Childhood Teacher in the design, implementation and evaluation of high-quality inquiry-based educational curriculums for children attending our services.
Council owns and operates six Early Education and Care Centres and two Preschools across the LGA. Our educators take pride in their profession with all services being rated as “National Quality Standards” for several years. Responsibilities
As a Diploma Trained Early Childhood Educator, you will work alongside an experienced Early Childhood Teacher and a passionate educating team to support the development of a curriculum and learning setting, underpinned by the development of strong nurturing relationships which encourage curiosity, critical thinking and a love of learning. You will contribute to the design, implementation and evaluation of programs in line with Early Childhood Regulations.
Qualifications
Essential: Diploma of Children’s Services; ACECQA-approved child protection training; First aid certificate. Thorough knowledge of child development, contemporary theories/approaches to early childhood education, and Early Childhood Regulations.
