Job Title: Specialist Pharmacist
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Pharmacist to join our dynamic team at St Vincent's Hospital, Darlinghurst. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will play a critical role in shaping pharmacy care in heart, lung, and transplant services.
You will collaborate with expert teams across cardiology, surgery, and thoracic medicine, and work closely with Senior Pharmacists in Heart and Lung Transplant and as part of an internationally recognised team.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide specialist pharmacy services to patients with heart, lung, and transplant conditions
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement pharmacy protocols and guidelines
* Conduct medication reviews and provide recommendations for optimisation of patient care
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including medical and nursing staff
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* A current AHPRA registration as a pharmacist with no scope on conditions of practice
* Experience and demonstrated higher level clinical competence in the provision of pharmacy services to patients with heart, lung, and transplant conditions
* Demonstrated knowledge of drug and therapeutics committee processes, including formulary management
* Demonstrated skills and experience in managing a complex workload, including organisational and time management skills
