Responsibilities
- Diversity, equity & inclusion strategy
- Workforce planning & organisational design
- Compensation and employee benefits management
- Recruitment and selection policy/practices and employee documentation management
- Training, talent development and succession planning
- Retention strategies and initiatives
- Lead transformational change and culture programs
- Morale, motivation, culture and attitudinal development
- Performance & quality management
- Oversee discipline, grievance and counselling processes
- Budget development and management to agreed expenditure
- International assignee and visa management
- Coach managers to identify, prioritise, and build organisational capabilities and behaviours
- Continually develop functional/departmental manager skills in people management
- Monitor, measure and report on HR issues, opportunities and achievements
- Maintain awareness of contemporary HR development theory and methods
- Provide interpretation of HR theory and methods to stakeholders
- Ensure alignment with global Yara HR annual practices and policies
- Ensure HR activities meet and integrate with organisational strategy and legal requirements
- Participate as a member of the Yara Pilbara site leadership team
Qualifications / Profile
- Degree in HR or relevant discipline (essential); Master's Degree (desirable)
- Extensive understanding of Australian workplace legislation and modern awards (essential)
- Knowledge of Australian IR/ER legislation & changes (essential)
- Industrial Relations experience (desirable)
- Significant senior-level HR management experience
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Experience in leading company culture and DE&I; transformation at a multi-disciplinary site
- Excellent communication, planning and organisation skills
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
- Similar industry knowledge/experience (desirable)
