About the role
We are seeking an experienced Grocery Manager to join the team at Spreyton IGA. As the Grocery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the grocery section, driving sales growth, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This is a full-time Monday – Friday position reporting to the Store Manager.
What you'll be doing
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the grocery section, including inventory management, and customer service
* Ensure daily operational routines are completed
* Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall customer experience
* Analyse data and reports to identify areas for improvement and make informed decisions
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the grocery or supermarket industry
* Highly motivated to grow sales through improving operational efficiency, merchandising, marketing and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
* Proficient in using retail management software, point of sale (preferably GAP), inventory control systems (preferably EMC)
* Passionate about the retail industry, with a deep understanding of consumer trends and market dynamics
* A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement
