About the Role The Building Manager will take responsibility for the day-to-day operations and upkeep of residential apartment buildings.
This includes coordinating contractors, managing maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining excellent property standards.
Key Responsibilities Oversee contractors and service providers to ensure high standards of building and grounds maintenance.
Monitor compliance with safety, security, and by-law requirements.
Manage routine inspections, coordinate repairs, and supervise essential services such as cleaning, gardening, and pool/spa maintenance.
Act promptly and effectively in emergency situations to ensure resident safety.
Communicate with residents to address concerns and support a harmonious living environment.
About You Proven experience in building or facilities management, ideally within residential, social, or community housing.
Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, compliance, and safety standards.
Effective leadership and contractor management skills.
Strong communication, organisational, and record-keeping abilities.
