About This Role
This is an exceptional opportunity to provide care and support to seniors in their own homes.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, individualised care that meets the unique needs of each client and their family members.
We require a minimum of 2 days availability; you can negotiate your working hours with us based on our clients’ requirements in and around Ballina, Lismore and Lennox Head.
* Assist with daily tasks such as meal preparation, grocery shopping and eating
* Provide transport and accompaniment services, including shopping trips and medical appointments
* Offer social support and activities, such as outings and group events
* Assist with personal care, including showering, bathing and general self-care duties
* Perform light household cleaning and domestic assistance
* Help with medication management
Key Requirements:
* Certificate III in Aged or Individual Support, or equivalent qualifications
* Demonstrated compassion and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to empathise with older people
* Current driver’s license and reliable vehicle with full comprehensive insurance
* Ability to travel regularly using your own vehicle
* Proven track record of reliability and trustworthiness – our clients rely on you
* Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
* Experience working in aged care or NDIS services
* Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families
