About the roleJoy of Hearing is seeking an experienced Audiologist or Audiometrist to join our team in Devonport, Tasmania.
This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for providing expert audiology services to our patients.
You will be an integral part of our mission to improve the quality of life for those with hearing difficulties.What you'll be doingConducting comprehensive hearing assessments and evaluations for children and adultsSelecting, fitting, and programming hearing aids and other assistive listening devicesProviding counselling and rehabilitation services to patients and their familiesOpportunity to develop your skills to perform diagnostic tests (ABR and Vestibular Tests - training will be provided)Ear wax removal (training will be provided)Tinnitus consultation and management (Optional + training will be provided)Maintaining detailed patient records and adhering to relevant regulations by HSPParticipating in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with industry advancementsWhat we're looking forQP Number (preferable but not mandatory)Registration with AcAud or Aud AustraliaCurrent Driver's License, WWVP (Working with Vulnerable People) and WWC (Working With Children) cardStrong knowledge of hearing assessment techniques, hearing aid technologies, and rehabilitation strategiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and colleaguesAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare teamCommitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred careWhat we offerAt Joy of Hearing, we are committed to supporting the professional and personal growth of our employees.
