Are you seeking a flexible part-time role where you can provide genuine patient care and practice to your full clinical scope? Peninsula Eye Optometrists is looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our friendly team in Frankston.
About The Role
Part-time: 2–2.5 days per week
Start: Mid-October/November
Duration: Parental leave cover (6 months) with potential for ongoing employment
What We're Looking For
Minimum 2 years' experience, preferably in independent practice
Confident across board scope optometry, including ocular therapeutics, red eye management, glaucoma co-management, binocular vision/prism management, foreign body removal (including metals), lacrimal lavage, dry eye management, and RGP fittings (or interest in learning)
Committed to holistic patient care: managing eyewear, lenses, and contact lenses while building long-term patient relationships
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented, team-oriented approach
Proficiency in Optomate Touch, good record-keeping, and willingness to assist with admin tasks during quieter periods
