Overview
We're looking for a Commercial Planning Analyst who can blend business strategy with technical execution. This is not a data reporting role - it's about shaping how we plan, schedule, and deliver services to our customers, using data and automation as enablers.
You'll partner with leaders across operations, finance, and field teams to design smarter scheduling frameworks, optimize asset planning, and drive commercial performance. Your work will directly influence profitability, service delivery, and how our people operate day-to-day.
What You’ll Do
Shape the Business
- Design and improve frameworks for technician scheduling, asset planning, and commercial performance.
- Contribute to pricing, margin, and tender strategy.
- Provide insights that drive profitability and long-term growth.
Lead with Data & Automation
- Own ERP data integrity and usability across the business.
- Build intuitive dashboards and workflows with Excel, SQL, Power BI, and automation tools.
- Standardize systems to make processes seamless for technicians, schedulers, and admin teams.
Engage Stakeholders
- Work closely with GMs, operations, finance, and field leaders.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights for executives.
- Drive adoption of new systems and processes across teams.
What You’ll Bring
- Commercial acumen - ability to link data insights to margin, pricing, and business performance.
- Strong stakeholder management and change leadership skills.
- 4+ years in commercial analysis, workforce planning, operations planning, or business partnering (field services, utilities, or engineering industries ideal).
- Strong technical skills in Excel (Power Query, VBA/macros), SQL, and Power BI.
- Experience with Power Apps/Power Automate; Python a plus.
