About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Housekeeping Team Leader to support the delivery of housekeeping services across the hotel. This is a hands‐on role suited to an experienced room attendant ready to take the next step in their career by guiding team members and supporting daily operations. The successful candidate will lead by example, assist in supervising the team during service periods, and ensure rooms and guest areas consistently meet brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the coordination of daily housekeeping operations
* Assisting with supervision and on-the-job training of team members
* Servicing and cleaning guest rooms and public areas to required standards
* Ensuring timely and professional service delivery
* Reporting maintenance issues promptly for timely rectification
* Maintaining housekeeping offices, laundry areas, and equipment
* Monitoring stock levels and replenishing guest supplies
* Processing lost property and dry cleaning
* Handling guest feedback and resolving concerns professionally
* Liaising with other departments within Rooms Division
* Maintaining accurate records, paperwork, and stock control
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in housekeeping within a hotel environment
* Ability to lead by example and support junior team members
* Strong attention to detail and time management skills
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards
* Confident communication and problem-solving skills
* Professional presentation and positive team attitude
