McCullochs are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Hydraulic Hose Truck Operator to join our mobile service team. If you enjoy hands-on work, solving problems on the go, and delivering exceptional service to customers, this is a great opportunity to build a rewarding career.
Role Responsibilities
* Operate a fully equipped mobile service vehicle, responding quickly to emergency hydraulic hose and fitting failures on-site.
* Maintain full-time availability to respond to after-hours call outs, ensuring 24/7 coverage.
* Provide support for breakdowns and scheduled maintenance, performing inspections, removal, installation, and fault-finding of high-pressure hydraulic hoses, fittings, and associated components on a diverse range of fixed and mobile plant.
* Measure, cut, assemble, and crimp custom hydraulic hose assemblies to precise specifications in the field and at our facilities.
* Ensure all job details are documented precisely and maintain consistent, professional communication with customers throughout the service process.
* Maintain accurate stock levels and a tidy, well-organised mobile workspace.
* Proactively seek out new business opportunities and identify potential customers to support long-term growth.
* Act as a brand ambassador, providing clear communication, offering expert product advice, and ensuring minimal downtime for the customer.
Role Requirements
* Mechanical aptitude or experience in hydraulic systems (training provided).
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Operational readiness to support on-call responsibilities and after-hours service needs.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Valid MR or HR driver's licence.
* Forklift licence (desirable).
