About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cultural Development Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work across various aspects of our People and Culture department, including Learning and Development, Recruitment, Operations, Wellbeing, and Employee Relations.
Your key responsibilities will include maintaining accurate records and data related to Working with Children Checks, National Police Records Checks, Visas, Learning and Development e-learning and workshop attendance records, employee onboarding and offboarding, and Wellbeing and Safety preventative programs.
You will also be responsible for undertaking general administrative tasks associated with Council's Identification Card requirements, Employee Security Checks, Corporate Development Calendar, Induction, e-learning, OHS, Performance Review, recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and document management.
Supporting employee queries and responding to all correspondence in an accurate and timely manner is also a crucial aspect of this role. Additionally, you will maintain P&C related information on our Intranet.
About You
To succeed in this position, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport at all levels. You must also be confident in learning new systems and technology, with a strong customer focus and attention to detail.
A passion for working independently and as part of a team is essential, along with a warm and flexible approach when supporting other employees. Prioritizing competing demands and using common sense are also critical skills for this role.
