Structural Engineer Position
The role of a Senior Structural Engineer involves designing structural elements of large civil projects. This position requires experience with structural design, analysis, and construction.
Key responsibilities include scoping, designing, and constructing structural elements such as small bridges, retaining walls, stormwater and wastewater pits, drainage pits, retaining walls, and culverts. The successful candidate will also be involved in large-scale asset maintenance and condition assessment, providing up-to-date knowledge of construction methods and materials, and delivering practical and innovative engineering solutions for clients.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering
- Demonstrated structural design experience of large Civil Projects
- Ideally experienced within a consulting environment
- RPEQ (Structural) accredited (preferred)
- Familiarity with the current Australian design codes
- Familiarity with the analysis, design, reporting, and presentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
