About Us
Brisbane Private is a 181 bed acute and rehabilitation hospital with 17 operating theatres conveniently located above the Roma Street Parklands. Specialties include neurosurgery, orthopaedics, spinal, plastics, urology, ENT, Rehabilitation and general surgery and delivery of Brisbane's leading private drug and alcohol programs from Damascus Health Services.
As an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) your responsibilities will include:
* Assist nurses or hospital staff in carrying out patient care duties.
* Work as part of the health care team; practice in accordance with state legislation and within the designated scope of practice parameters.
* Answer patient/visitor/customer enquiries.
Essential Criteria
* Certificate III/IV (from an approved training provider) in Community and Health Services, Personal Carer.
* Excellent ability to plan and prioritise work.
* Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
* Previous experience as an Assistant in Nursing desired.
