Maintenance Officer – Full Time (Monday to Friday, No Weekends)

$31.51/hr + super + NFP salary packaging

About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and reliable Maintenance Officer to support the day-to-day upkeep of our aged care and retirement living services. This full-time role (Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week) offers stability, a competitive hourly rate, and the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older Australians.
You will play a key part in maintaining buildings, property, plant, and equipment to ensure our spaces remain safe, compliant, and comfortable for residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out both planned and reactive maintenance professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with WHS standards and organisational procedures.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Support the delivery of safe, high-quality aged care through proactive asset and property management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in a maintenance or general handyperson role.
- Sound understanding of WHS principles and relevant building legislation.
- Trade qualification highly regarded but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good computer literacy and organisational ability.
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence.
Even Better If You Have
- Experience in aged care or retirement living maintenance.
- Knowledge of CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems)—training available if required.
