Are you a compassionate, dedicated, and skilled mental health professional looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people? Central Coast Local Health District is seeking professionals to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team. We are offering an exciting opportunity to provide assertive outreach and comprehensive case management to children and young people aged 0-17 facing mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert clinical services to children, young people, and their families/carers, helping to resolve mental health crises.
* Deliver evidence-based, recovery-focused individual therapy tailored to the needs of young people.
* Involve families and carers in assessments, care plans, and reviews to ensure holistic and comprehensive support.
* Collaborate with a wide range of professionals and agencies, participating in case conferences and team meetings to ensure the best care outcomes.
* Offer consultation and guidance to colleagues and external partners, supporting the management and care of young people in need.

* Occupational Therapist Level 3
* Psychologist
* Clinical Psychologist
* Senior Psychologist
* Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2
* Clinical Midwife Specialist Grade 2
* Social Worker Level 3
* Welfare Officer Level 3
* Counsellor Level 3
An Eligibility List (E-List) or talent pool may be created from this recruitment episode to assist in filling future permanent, temporary, or casual full-time and part-time positions.
About You
* You have an unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence.
* You have postgraduate experience working within a Child and Adolescent Mental Health service or Mental Health Service.
* You meet the Essential Criteria with qualifications and APHRA registration if required.
* You will need to be available to work midday to 8:30 pm Monday to Friday and 09:30-06:00 pm on a Saturday to Sunday. This is a rotating roster.
