The Role
Alba Thermal Springs & Spa is a luxury spa and hot springs destination located in Fingal.
Open for breakfast, lunch & dinner, Thyme's menu has been created by well-known Melbourne chef, restauranteur, cookbook author and television presenter, Karen Martini – showcasing locally sourced, seasonal produce served alongside excellent coffee, herbal tea blends, local cold-pressed juices and signature cocktails.
We are expanding our team in the Kitchen and looking for professional, experienced Demi Chef who will draw on their knowledge and expertise to support the Head Chef in all areas of this fast-paced kitchen.
We will provide flexibility with days and hours across a rotational roster.
We offer a competitive annual salary + superannuation.
About You
* You have a culinary qualification of Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or Diploma in Hospitality
* You have 2+ experience in commercial kitchen
* You will have knowledge of food professional principles and practises
* You are guest centric, a team player, and have a positive attitude
* You have excellent personal presentation and strong communication skills
* You are capable, reliable and responsible
* You have a valid visa or working rights for Australia
* You are available to work in the evenings & weekends
