HEAD CHEF REQUIRED – FULL TIME
PADDYS IRISH PUB PORT DOUGLAS
The desired candidate will be motivated and dedicated to work as well as being encouraged to demonstrate your creativity and skills during the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. You will work in a team of professionals who share your love of cooking & will be involved in the efficient running of a busy high-volume kitchen.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING ATTRIBUTES:
- Experience in fast-paced environments and high-volume conditions
- Have excellent time management ability and organisational skills
- Take pride in the work you produce and have passion for what you do
- Previous experience in high-volume, multi-venue operations is advantageous
- An enthusiastic attitude and a valuable work ethic
- Immediate start in busy restaurants
- An ability to work as part of a team and produce a consistent product is a must
Main tasks include:
Planning menus,
Preparing and cooking food.
Monitoring quality and presentation of dishes.
Training staff.
Follow all health regulations and explain to others.
Advise on required cooking procedures.
