Job Title: Storeperson
Job Description:
You will be responsible for the receipting and distribution of goods, as well as the picking, packing, and despatching of orders to internal customers throughout the Eastern Region of Australia.
Your duties will include accepting and checking goods received at the Wendouree Distribution Centre, unloading goods using appropriate materials handling aids/equipment, and ensuring deliveries are correct relating to quantity, quality, and specification.
You will also be responsible for accurately recording orders in the computerised supply system, processing/filing paperwork/documentation, and segregating direct supply items from inventory items for priority dispatch.
In addition, you will be required to deliver goods received to the inventory locator within the Distribution Centre, unpacking, checking for accuracy before placing into the nominated location, and rotating stock to ensure first in, first out (FIFO) (and/or nearest expiry date).
Furthermore, you will need to handle and store goods correctly to comply with clinical and infectious control standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will possess high-level verbal and written communication skills, a demonstrated ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and maintain performance at a high level within allocated time schedules.
You will also require basic mathematical skills to determine and verify stock quantities, prices, and volume of goods.
A Light Rigid Heavy Vehicle Drivers License is also a requirement for this position.

We offer a casual hourly rate of $36.48 to $37.53, inclusive of casual loading, plus 12% Superannuation.
Casual positions are available at our Wendouree warehouse.
