The Opportunity
We're looking for a Functional Assessor to join our team on a casual basis working between the hours of 8am and 5pm to provide and undertake physical capacity assessments and administration support relating to WHS processes.
This would suit a 2nd or 3rd year student who wants to gain work experience or a recent graduate looking to gain employment within their field of study
About the role
* Coordinate and undertake functional assessments
* Assess the physical capacity of candidates for job placement
* Train staff and employees in manual handling
* Maintaining the functional assessment procedures and documentation
To be successful you will need the following
A qualification or studying in Health Sciences or Allied Health (Degree/Masters/Honours) in one of the below, or similar
* Exercise Science (Exercise Sports Science)
* Physiotherapy
* Occupational Therapy
* Exercise Physiology
Skills and Experience Required
* Intermediate Microsoft office capabilities
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills
* The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
* An effective problem solver
* A proactive approach
* Strong organisational and time management skills
