About your new role
As the CFO, this role will see you partner with the CEO and the board. This role is highly visible throughout the organisation and will be responsible for driving a large-scale transformation of the finance function to achieve key outcomes and greater commercial acumen throughout the business.
This is a broad role where in addition to finance, you will also be managing a team looking after technology, property, procurement and risk.
Some of the key tasks aligned to this role will include:
•Partner with the senior executive team to develop and execute strategy.
•Presenting key financial performance insights to the board and executive team.
•Lead all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and analysis, cash flow management
•Lead and develop the finance team to ensure all statutory reporting and compliance requirements are met.
•Identify top-line growth opportunities whilst implementing internal cost control initiatives.
•Identify business drivers and translate data into key decision-supporting insights.
•Lead group-wide transformation programs to implement "best in class" business processes and ERP systems.
About you
Must have a proven track record of successfully operating at the Head of Finance or CFO level in a fast-paced environment. During this time, you have been hands-on, have a high level of commercial acumen, supported the strategic growth of the business and driven transformation initiatives.
Additionally, you will have a people-centric leadership style and the ability to embed finance throughout the organisation as a true business partner & advisor.
