About the Role:
We are seeking Residential Care Workers to provide therapeutic care and support to Young People in our residential houses across Hamilton.
Hourly Rate of $34.46 to $40.05, SCHADS Award Level 2-3, dependent on qualification and experience.
Flexibility available to match your lifestyle; permanent and casual positions available. We need you to work a mix of shifts including dayshifts, sleepovers, active nights, weekdays, and weekends.
As a Residential Care Worker at MacKillop, you will collaborate to provide a safe home for Young People and be passionate about their wellbeing. Responsibilities include responding to emotional and functional needs, supporting personal development, household duties, and administrative tasks like updating reports and records.

To be successful in this role:
* Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or other relevant tertiary qualifications.
* Genuine interest in Young People and their wellbeing.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with Young People.
* Able to work collaboratively with other staff and professionals.
* Understanding and respect for cultural backgrounds with a commitment to cultural safety.
Requirements:
* Valid Driver's Licence;
* Satisfactory Criminal History Check;
* Valid Employee Working with Children Check;
* Valid NDIS Workers Screening Check.
