About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Events Manager to oversee the development, management, and execution of events and strategic partnerships for DENZA to enhance brand visibility and driving customer engagement. Must be able to adapt to a scaling business and support in establishing process while maintaining growth. Based in Mulgrave, this role will support our Marketing team. Day-to-day duties will include but not be limited to: Events: Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of DENZA events, including drive days, trade shows, exhibitions, and product launches, ensuring seamless delivery within budget and timelines. Coordinate with internal teams, external agencies, vendors, and venues to manage all event logistics and operations. Partner with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, product) to align on event objectives, messaging, and deliverables. Develop and deliver compelling event content, including presentations and narratives that showcase BYD’s brand, product features, and sustainability initiatives. Drive trade show and event strategies to maximise brand exposure, customer engagement, and lead generation. Collaborate with design teams and agencies to produce engaging booth experiences, including localisation of global assets for the Australian market. Manage all logistical aspects of events, including transport, setup, staffing, compliance, and coordination of the marketing vehicle fleet. Monitor event performance through post-event reporting and data analysis, providing actionable insights and recommendations. Ensure all activities are delivered within approved budgets. Provide support across broader BYD event activities as required. Partnerships: Support the Senior Events and Partnerships Manager in managing the current portfolio of partnerships, ensuring strong, professional relationships and effective delivery of all commitments. Assist in identifying and securing new sponsorship opportunities to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and commercial value. Lead sponsorship activation and leverage planning to maximise utilisation of benefits and drive measurable ROI. Evaluate partnership performance through post-event analysis, assessing outcomes against KPIs and providing recommendations for optimisation. Manage the marketing vehicle fleet to ensure availability and alignment with partnership activities. Coordinate with external agencies and ensure all activities are delivered in line with budgets and internal processes. Provide support across broader BYD partnership activations as required.
