The Role
We have an opportunity for an Interior Designer to join us in the commercial space, creating practical and pleasing, future focused solutions. The opportunity will focus on the exercise of design skills, technical knowledge and document preparation in the delivery of client projects.
Responsibilities will include:
5. Collaborate across project teams to develop creative, practical design concepts and solutions in line with client briefs, scope and deliverables
6. Partner with clients to understand their culture and needs, delivering designs that exceed expectations
7. Develop design solutions with mentorship from senior designers
8. Work hand-in-hand with Business Development and Construction to deliver seamless project experiences
9. Incorporate global best practice into the design, think laterally and provide creative and innovative solutions
Skills And Experiences
Who We Are Looking For
This role will suit someone with solid 2-3 years' experience in commercial interior design, who can work flexibly and is committed to continual growth and improvement.
10. Must be degree qualified in Interior Design, Architectural Design, or similar.
11. Demonstrated ability to visually communicate design concepts
12. Strong design visualisation skills including fluency in Revit, Enscape, AutoCAD, and Adobe graphics programs
13. Strong project management skills
14. Demonstrated collaboration skills and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
15. Strong understanding of building codes and quality standards
