Carinity Education – Gladstone has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Senior Youth Worker – Student Wellbeing to join the team. The Senior Youth Worker – Student Wellbeing (SYWSW) promotes, supports, develops, organises and supervises the Youth Workers team and has primary responsibility for the individual case work management within the School. The SYWSW oversees the formal casework process that guides and documents interventions and support. The SYWSW also holds primary responsibility for external referrals (eg: Psychology, Counselling, Medical referrals) that are routinely made in response to individual youth needs.What do I need for the role?

* Certificate IV in Teacher Aide, Youth Work or similar relevant discipline and the willingness to work towards a Diploma in Youth Work.
* Experience in leading and supervising a team of Youth Workers working within a challenging environment.
* Experience in providing Youth Work, education and support services to marginalised young people, including behaviour management.
* Possession of a valid LR Driver's Licence or willing to obtain (Drive the School mini bus)
