Job Title: Rural Health Care Professional
The Wurli-Wurlinjang Health Service is seeking a skilled and dedicated Rural Health Care Professional to join their team. As a key member of the primary health care team, you will provide evidence-based and culturally appropriate primary health care services to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide medical services in accordance with Wurli policies and procedures, guided by CARPA standard treatment manual and applicable legislation and regulations
* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including Registered Aboriginal Health Practitioners, Registered Nurses, and other allied health professionals
* Deliver education and clinical support to team members
* Participate in committees and working groups to support the integration of acute care
* Liaise with regional agencies, community health clinics, hospitals, and relevant government agencies to ensure clients have access to relevant services and programs
Requirements:
* Medical Degree / Vocationally Registered General Practitioner (VRGP)
* Current AHPRA Registration
* Current Criminal History Check
* Working with Children Clearance
* A minimum of three years' experience in general practice
* Previous experience in working in a cross-cultural service environment, particularly in Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander healthcare
