**ABOUT THE POSITION.**
This permanent position is 35 hours per week with flexible start and finish times, providing flexibility and work life balance. You will provide urban design and planning expertise for strategic planning for city-wide, precinct and site scale projects. Continually grow professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, while coordinating community engagement.
**DUTIES.**
- Prepare detailed urban research and analysis through presentations, reports, plans and 3D modelling
- Project manage medium-complex projects across the planning team
- Elevate the role of city design, strategic planning and quality design internally and externally
- Coordinate procurement processes, including preparing consultants briefs, appointments and management of consultants
**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.**
- Degree in Urban design or similar demonstrated professional experience
- Previous experience working within Local or State Government is desirable
- Experience working with the NSW planning system, high-quality spatial, structure and master plans
- Software proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCad, 3D software (Rhino, Sketchup or Giraffe) and Microsoft Office
