About The Role
The Early Childhood Teacher plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality early childhood education that aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and our organisational objectives. This position is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating learning programs that foster a love for lifelong learning among children and their families.

In this role, you will ensure the safety and well-being of children by adhering to the Child Safe Standards and effectively managing developmental records and other administrative tasks. You will also support the Centre Director in daily operations and maintain open communication with families regarding children's progress.

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

Qualifications
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated educator who is committed to the development and well-being of children. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

* Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and ongoing professional development.
* Current certifications in First Aid, CPR, and Child Protection.
* Strong leadership and organisational skills with a focus on customer service.
* Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with children, families, and stakeholders.

Other Important Information

* The commencing salary for this position is up to $76.9k per annum. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $89.1k per annum on completion of assessment of skills and performance plus 12% superannuation
* We have a permanent full-time role available.
* This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight.
* This role is located at Umina Children's Centre.

Council may create an eligibility list from this recruitment process and may utilise this eligibility list to fill other permanent or temporary vacancies.
