Our sensors are distributed worldwide and are used across a wide range of industries, including swimming pools, water treatment, and food and beverage.
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an individual with a positive, self-motivated attitude and an interest in a flexible role. This role is part-time (~20 hours per week) and will report directly to Ionode’s Business Manager. Working hours are flexible and can be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Duties/responsibilities:
· Processing bank transactions and reconciling bank accounts
· Processing payroll
· BAS preparation
· Managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
· Preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, budget variances, and profit & loss statements
· Manipulating spreadsheet data to produce accurate reporting for management
· Support the integration between materials/manufacturing (MRP) system and Xero
· Liaising with various staff members, customers and suppliers
Requirements:
· Minimum of 3 years of prior bookkeeping or accounting experience
· Previous payroll experience
· Proficiency in Xero accounting software
· Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
· Previous experience with a CRM/MRP system, or a willingness to learn
· Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
· Self-motivated
· High attention to detail
· Excellent problem-solving abilities
· Able to work autonomously or as part of a team
· Permanent residency or Australian citizenship is required for this position
