Learning Assistant
The role of a Learning Assistant is to provide vital support to students with additional needs, enhancing their learning experience and helping them reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement various teaching and learning strategies such as one-on-one instruction, co-operative learning, scaffolding, modeling, and worked examples.
* Support students with organisation, social competence, accessing activities, and appropriate behaviour.
* Collaborate with the class teacher to reinforce classroom teaching and assist students with neurological and learning disorders, physical disabilities, and behavioural disorders.
Additional responsibilities may include:
* Supervising the class to enable the teacher to support students who have additional needs.
