To learn more please visit www.serco.com/ahsc About the RoleYou will be responsible for assisting the Senior Pharmacist/Pharmacist with duties as required under their direct supervision. This may include customer service, general dispensary duties, co-ordinating distribution of stock, managing stock shelf life and disposing/returning expired items and assisting in stocktaking of medical and dental supplies in accordance with Defence Policies and Procedures.To be successful in this role, you will have:• The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.• Certificate Qualified non-pharmacist Dispensary Assistant/Technician (Dispensary Technicians Course Certificate, or equivalent).• 2 Years (full time) experience as a Dispensary Assistant/Technician within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent).• Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities.• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to support the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality care to patients.About ACT Health CentreACT houses Department of Defence Headquarters, Airforce Headquarters and Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) which is a tri-service military academy. The ACT Health Centre opened mid-2021 and is a large facility. It services approximately 7000 military personnel, including trainee officers from both ADFA and Royal Military College. There is a 24-bed low dependency ward which operates 24/7. Services provided include primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, nursing, dental, mental health, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy. Defence Force Recruitment for medical officers is in addition to health centre roles. Standard hours of operation are generally 0700-1630 Monday to Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts).About YouYou are positive and energetic and are willing to go the extra mile to help out your team wherever needed.
