At WOW RECRUITMENT, we believe people are at the heart of every great business. We're a Sydney-based HR and talent solutions company helping organisations across Australia find, support, and grow their teams.
We're now looking for a Human Resources Assistant who wants to build their career in HR. Whether you're a recent graduate or someone ready to make the move into HR from another field, this is a welcoming entry point into a professional career.
The Opportunity
This role is designed to give you hands-on experience in HR operations, from recruitment support to employee records and day-to-day people processes.
You'll be working in a hybrid model:
* Each month you'll join the team onsite for 10 days in our Sydney office, with transport allowance provided.
* Onsite days are pre-scheduled by the company, but we're flexible if you need to request changes.
* The rest of your time you'll work remotely, with full access to team support and resources.
What You'll Do
* Assist with maintaining employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
* Support recruitment tasks, including posting roles and scheduling interviews.
* Help prepare reports, HR forms, and onboarding packs for new hires.
* Coordinate internal communications and team updates.
* Provide day-to-day administrative support to the People & Culture team.
What We're Looking For
* Recent graduates in HR, Business, Psychology, or related fields — or career changers with a genuine interest in HR.
* Strong communication and organisation skills.
* Comfortable using digital tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Zoom.
* Reliable, detail-oriented, and keen to learn.
* A collaborative attitude — you enjoy working with people and supporting a team.
Why Join Us?
* Entry-level friendly — full training provided.
* Hybrid balance — 10 onsite days per month, with flexibility to request adjustments.
* Supportive culture — people-focused, approachable, and genuinely human in how we work.
* Career growth — exposure to all aspects of HR, with mentoring from experienced consultants.
* Practical benefits — transport allowance for office days and on-time salary payments.
