Electrical Design Draftsperson
Talison Lithium is the world's leading lithium minerals producer with the largest high-grade ore body in the world.
The Greenbushes Lithium Operation is located near the town of Greenbushes atop the picturesque Darling Scarp.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Lead Design Draftsperson, you will provide drafting services for site projects at the Greenbushes Lithium Operation.
Responsibilities:
* Design of new and modified plant;
* Prepare technical drawings and plans for new and existing plant;
* Provide drafting expertise in the design, fabrication, installation and commissioning of projects;
* Maintain the drawing register;
* Ensure timely completion of all allocated jobs;
* Locate drawings for maintenance and operating personnel;
* Review vendor plant equipment and potential new installation drawings.
About the Candidate:
* You should have the following skills and/or experience:
* Minimum 3 years relevant experience including experience in mining and mineral processing;
* Understanding of WA Electrical Regs, relevant Australian standards and WA Mines Regs;
* Experience working on different projects including both LV and HV design, Substation Layouts, Electrical Distribution Systems and Single Line Diagrams;
* Electrical instrumentation and process control design;
* Advanced AutoCAD electrical drafting skills;
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide rapid and effective engineering support to management and trade staff;
* Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills;
* Ability to work within teams and autonomously;
* Excellent time management skills;
* High standard of presentation;
* Ability to determine and set priorities.
