Meatsmith currently operates 4 retail stores as well as a Production department. We're continuing to grow, and looking for a Butcher to join our team.
The candidate we are looking for will have a strong butcher skills and an eye for quality. Working in the Butchery team, you will be responsibilities will include, from Product preparation, Body Breakdown, Preparing and cutting orders, managing production schedules within required timeframes, maintaining quality control systems, communication with other departments, and more.
An excellent salary is available for the right candidate, with room for future growth.
About Meatsmith:
We have a focus on traditional butchery paired with modern techniques, seasonality, and showcasing specialty breeds. You'll have the opportunity to work with Australia's best produce - Our suppliers include O'Connor Beef, Blackmore Wagyu and Glen Eyrie Rare Breeds just to name a few.
We have an in house kitchen producing restaurant-quality meals, sauces & condiments, as well as a smokehouse producing a range of smallgoods, pates & terrines. In addition to this, our dry-age coolroom sees a rotating range of cuts from different breeds of beef, sold in-store as well as to some of Melbourne's best restaurants.
