About the Role:
As a key member of our team, you will assist with cost planning, contracts administration, estimating, and client liaison on projects ranging from feasibility stage through to delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting precise and comprehensive land surveys for civil engineering projects, including topographic, boundary, and construction surveys.
* Utilizing advanced surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS, and laser scanners to collect accurate field data and create detailed maps and plans.
* Analyzing survey data, interpreting results, and preparing reports and drawings for use in project planning, design, and decision-making.
* Collaborating with project teams to provide valuable insights and recommendations based on survey data, ensuring effective implementation of civil engineering designs.
* Maintaining and managing surveying equipment, ensuring they are calibrated and functioning optimally to achieve accurate survey results.
* Staying up-to-date with advancements in surveying technology, methodologies, and best practices to enhance efficiency and precision in surveying operations.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Surveying, or related field.
* Proven experience in surveying for civil projects.
* Proficiency in using surveying software and equipment such as AutoCAD, GIS, total stations, GPS, and laser scanners.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex survey data and provide practical solutions.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, enabling effective collaboration with multidisciplinary project teams and clients.
* Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in surveying measurements and data interpretation.
* Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to land surveying and civil engineering.
