Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated, patient‐focused Physiotherapist to join our team on a part‐time basis. This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys varied caseloads, building strong therapeutic relationships and working within an integrated primary care setting.
You will deliver assessment, treatment and education services, contribute to clinical decision making and collaborate closely with GPs and other allied health professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualised treatment plans for adults and adolescents with musculoskeletal and soft tissue injuries.
- Deliver evidence‐based interventions including manual therapy, exercise prescription, dry needling (if credentialed), taping and education.
- Work with patients to set realistic goals, monitor progress and adapt treatment approaches to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with GPs, occupational therapists, exercise physiologists and other team members to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate clinical records, treatment notes and outcome measures in compliance with clinic protocols and professional standards.
- Participate in team meetings, case discussions and contribute to quality improvement and professional development activities.
Essential Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a general physiotherapist.
- Proven clinical experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy within outpatient or community settings.
- Strong communication skills, clinical reasoning and a patient‐centred approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi‐disciplinary team in a busy practice.
Desirable Attributes
- Post‐graduate training or certifications in manual therapy, sports physiotherapy or dry needling.
- Experience with telehealth consultations and digital outcome measure tools.
- Interest in community engagement, health promotion and delivering group rehabilitation or exercise classes.
