About This Role
Our busy clinic in Geraldton is currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join the team in early May.
The role is a part time position working Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, between 7:45am-5pm with a 45 minute lunch break.
Role Overview:
As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.
2. Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.
3. Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.
4. Billing procedures – private, Medicare, workers compensation and DVA.
5. Collaborating with technical staff, radiologists and referrers.
What we're looking for:
1. Clear verbal and written communication skills.
2. Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.
3. Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.
4. Availability to work Saturday shifts every 5 weeks – either 9am-11am or 8am-12pm.
